Baby Shower Time!
Rappahannock WIC holds "Breastfeeding Baby Showers" for WIC participants every quarter. Women who receive WIC and are planning on breastfeeding are eligible to attend. Women who participate in the baby showers receive free breastfeeding supplies and enjoy meeting other moms and playing games for fabulous prizes (OK, not that fabulous but they are pretty nice!) Peer counselors also hold breastfeeding classes during the baby showers so you may even learn a thing or two.
